The Master of Public Administration in ‘Governance’ Programme is conducted by the FHR School of Governance in cooperation with the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
This Master Degree is issued by ISS and was accredited by EAAPA (the European Association of Public Administration Accreditation) in September 2011 and by NOVA (Nationaal Orgaan voor Accreditatie) in August 2014.
The programme is designed for young professionals and mid career executives from the public and private sector, non-governmental and other civil society organizations who are committed to public service and are involved in Policy Preparation and Policy Formulation.
The programme delivers about 20-30 graduates annually.
This 72 ECTS programme is delivered in 18 months and consists of six modules on Governance and Policy, along with four Public Management specialization modules and a Master thesis.
• A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of at least three years of study at a recognized university or institute of higher education;
• At least two years relevant professional experience;
• Proficiency in English
